With the recent passage of Senate Bill 153 (SB 153), North Carolina is implementing drastic changes regarding state-funded benefits, university policies, and cooperation with ICE.
Our partners at SIEMBRA are taking action using three strategies to protect immigrant drivers before state law enforcement officers are trained to operate as ICE agents: public prayer, Defend Your Rights trainings and learning how to run voter registration and mobilization teams.
