SURJ 2023 National Strategy Launch

CJJ members have been invited to this community event by Standing Up to Racial Justice (SURJ). This event is not hosted by CJJ.

Like so many of you, we have been watching the chilling rise of authoritarianism across our country with great concern. From passing bans on gender affirming healthcare to removing state officials who speak out, far right actors are working to consolidate power and eliminate dissent.

SURJ organizes millions of white folks across the country- and we have a three year plan to make sure white people show up to stop authoritarianism in 2024 and work for justice beyond by building bases of working people across the South.
