Purim 5781

Purim 5781

Purim 5781 is coming up! Purim commemorates the day Esther, Queen of Persia, saved the Jewish people from execution by Haman, the advisor to the Persian king. Learn more about Purim here. It is typically celebrated by dressing up, reading the Book of Esther (known as the Megillah), acting in a Purim play (spiel), making noise and overall having fun. A little bit of Mardi Gras, Easter, and Halloween all rolled into one!

We're adapting these traditions in a Covid-safe way to celebrate on Zoom!  Please RSVP to get the link and join us for some Purim festivities!
