Postcarding Event

Join WNC Votes!, the Interfaith Action Network (IAN), the UU Congregation of Asheville, and Carolina Jews for Justice for a voter outreach postcarding event! We’ll be writing to Black voters in Virginia about the upcoming special election on April 21.

We are partnering with Reclaim Our Vote which plans to write personal notes to 670,000 registered Black voters throughout Virginia and we’ve pledged to contact 800 voters. 

We will provide names, addresses, postcards, postage and supplies, as well as sample text for writing to voters, however, we are asking attendees to consider making a donation to help defray the cost of postage ($10 - $20 suggested), or bring some postcard stamps. There is no obligation to contribute financially. If you can help us write postcards, please come!
