Panel: Living In Post-Dobbs North Carolina
CJJ members have been invited to this community event by Temple Beth Or (Raleigh) and NC National Organization of Women. This event is not hosted by CJJ.
The recent demise of national abortion rights based on the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade has created a good deal of anger, uncertainty, and anxiety throughout the country. North Carolina is no exception. In many ways, the new post-Roe/post-Dobbs reality is much worse than pre-Roe. This panel will explore things like what doctors, staff and patients are facing; how it may impact doctors entering the field of OB/GYN; how this decision interferes with Judaism; lawsuits related to Dobbs; and what we may expect from the NC General Assembly, where leadership is strongly anti-abortion.
This panel presentation and discussion is in-person and on Zoom. If you plan to join us in person, go to Temple Beth Or, 5315 Creedmoor Rd, Raleigh NC. Regardless of how you join us, please register with Zoom.
