"It’s Time” Summit: A Juneteenth Release of the Black Worker Bill of Rights Policy Platform

CJJ members have been invited to this community event by the National Black Worker Center and the Black Worker Policy Coalition. This event is not hosted by CJJ.

The National Black Worker Center and Black Worker Policy Coalition enthusiastically invite you to our first ever “It’s Time” Summit! This will be a celebration of the release of the Black Worker Bill of Rights policy platform with worker rights leaders from across the country.

The “It’s Time” Summit is a one-day event in Washington, DC on June 21, 2023, focused entirely on the Black Worker Bill of Rights. The day will include interactive workshops, panels, and brain trusts. This space is for coalition members, partner organizations, as well as future coalition members and partners to come together to learn more about the Black Worker Bill of Rights policy platform, campaign efforts, and explore avenues for partnership.  

We are holding this summit in connection with Juneteenth, as our campaign seeks to change the material conditions of Black workers across the country. In celebrating Juneteenth and the continued efforts to fight for Black worker liberation, this summit is an invitation to strengthen commitments, freedom dream, inspire people to get involved, and deepen the involvement of others.
