Interfaith Initiative for Social Justice Annual Meeting
The Interfaith Initiative for Social Justice (IISJ) began in the mountains of Western NC as a way for people from different faiths and congregations to work together on social justice issues of common interest. It was started in 2017 when more than 20 people came together to see if such an organization had the people power to be established. Now, more than 220 people subscribe to its bi-weekly e-newsletter that offers opportunities for people to learn, be inspired, and take action.
Going into its sixth year, the IISJ is holding its annual meeting virtually on Monday, May 9th, from 7:00 - 8:15 pm. Come learn what the Initiative has accomplished over the years and offer your thoughts about its future and how you would like to be involved.
Should you have questions, contact Ron Katz.
