Join us for Hood Huggers rescheduled 2022 MLK Day of Service event on Saturday, February 26 from 12 - 4 pm.*

From our partners at Hood Huggers, "The Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service is a defining moment each year when Americans across the country step up to make our communities more equitable and take action to create the Beloved Community of Dr. Kingʼs dream. While Dr. King believed the Beloved Community was possible, he acknowledged and fought for systemic change. His example is our call to action."  Here is a link to learn more.

Let's gather together in service - proudly wearing our CJJ blue t-shirts, weather permitting, to work on a community betterment project in the Burton Street neighborhood!

We also acknowledge that when working in coalition with our non-Jewish partners there will occasionally be events falling during the hours of Shabbat/holiday which might present a challenge and choice for our members.
