Environmental Racial Justice Reading Session

Environmental Racial Justice Reading Session

My heart is moved by all I cannot save:
so much has been destroyed

I have to cast my lot with those
who age after age, perversely,

with no extraordinary power,
reconstitute the world.

--Adrienne Rich

Continuing our series on environmental justice, the D/OC Racial Justice Working Group will be holding a virtual book club where we read selections from All We Can Save, an anthology of essays and poems written by women about the crisis of climate change.

Selections from the anthology will emphasize the perspectives of Black and Indigenous people and people of color reckoning with climate justice and its relationship to social and racial justice.  Come and study with us!

Participants will receive a virtual copy of the reading selections after RSVP below. We also encourage you to buy the book at a local retailer near you.
