3/31 Environmental Racial Justice Reading Session

3/31 Environmental Racial Justice Reading Session

These past few months, the D/OC Racial Justice Working Group has been hosting an Environmental Justice (EJ) learning series, where we've had the privilege of hearing from EJ practitioners as well as North Carolina neighbors who have become climate refugees while fighting the Atlantic Coast Pipeline. We are excited to keep this learning series going by holding a virtual book club where we read selections from All We Can Save, an anthology of essays and poems written by women about the crisis of climate change.

Selections from the anthology will emphasize the perspectives of Black and Indigenous people and people of color reckoning with climate justice and its relationship to social and racial justice.  Come and study with us and think about how we can engage in this work in meaningful ways

Participants will receive a virtual copy of the reading selections after RSVP below. We also encourage you to buy the book at a local retailer near you.
