Ending the Cycle of Unfair Court Fines & Fees

Join CJJ-Triad for an action afternoon heeding a call from our friends at Benevolence Farm. We will be joined by Kristen Powers, Executive Director of Benevolence Farm, as we learn about efforts to support people with unaffordable fines and fees and legislative efforts for change. After some brief study, we will take action and text bank with people to give them info about how to have their court fines and fees waived. This event is part of our ongoing work around fines, fees, and license suspensions and our partnership with Benevolence Farm.
