CJJ-West Democracy Rights Meeting

Are you ready to take the next step to support democracy? This work group is ready to move forward! On Wednesday, May 19th, starting at 7 pm, come hear about what CJJ-West and CJJ statewide are doing to make our democracy work better and how you can support this effort. At this meeting, you’ll learn the following:

• What some of the key resources are that are out there to educate you on issues that affect our democracy both within North Carolina and nationally.
• The possibilities of joining this work group to get a more general view of issues or join a “circle” to go deeper on a specific issue, such as voter suppression or the drawing of fair maps.
• Some initial ways you can take action.
