CJJ-W celebrates Shabbat and Jewish Poetry with Yetzirah

Yetzirah’s fourth Jewish Poetry Conference, the only one of its kind in the world, will be held right in our backyard, at the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly. Join other members of CJJ-West for an open-to-the-public portion of the national conference on Friday, June 19. We'll gather for Shabbat Hors d'oeuvres starting at 4:30 pm, then enjoy some poetry readings from 5:30 - 6:45 pm, followed by a Kabbalat Shabbat led by Rena Branson from 6:45 - 7:30 pm. (Note that there is a $10 fee for this event).
The conference offer Jewish poets of all levels of experience and is offering some events that are open to the public. Here is a list of the public events (please be aware that there will be a $10 fee at the door for afternoon events and a $10 fee for evening events).
RSVP and Lisa Forehand will be in touch to coordinate some carpooling from River Ridge to Black Mountain!
