CJJ-Charlotte Book Group & Chapter Meeting
CJJ-Charlotte is co-sponsoring a three-part, intergenerational discussion group focused on the book White Fragility: Why it’s so Hard for White People to Talk About Racism, by Dr. Robin DiAngelo, with the Stan Greenspon Center, beginning Thursday, Aug. 20, from 6:30-7:30pm. Please register by contacting Donna Tarney at [email protected].
Following the first session, we will reconvene as a chapter via Zoom from 7:45-8:30pm for our regularly scheduled CJJ-Charlotte Chapter meeting, including a discussion about our current voting rights efforts and how to get involved.

*Note: For the time being, all CJJ events will be happening virtually so as to support our individual and collective health and safety. If you haven't used Zoom before, you'll need to download it ahead of time (don't worry — it's free!). Please email [email protected] if you need any guidance or support using the program! We'll follow up before the meeting with the necessary log-in information.
