Advocacy Training with HIAS and CJJ

With the Biden administration, we face new opportunities and new challenges. To better understand and prepare for the work ahead, both federally and in North Carolina, please join the HIAS Welcome Campaign and CJJ — in partnership with Church World Service-Durham — for an advocacy training on Sunday, April 11, at 10:00am ET. 

We’ll learn from national and local experts, develop new skills for effective advocacy, and connect with Jewish activists from across the state who share in our commitment to provide a just and compassionate welcome for all refugees — refugees who seek the same promise of safety and prosperity that first drew many of our own ancestors to this land.
