CJJ Statewide Reproductive Justice Team

Join CJJ's statewide working group meeting as we welcome guest speaker, Rebecca Todd "Toddie" Peters, Professor of Religious Studies at Elon University and author of Abortion & Religion Project, who will share insights about faith's role in abortion access.  We'll learn more about SACReD (Spiritual Alliance of Communities for Reproductive Dignity), hear legislative updates, and plan for future action. 

Abortion, Religion, and Organizing in NC: This conversation will begin by overviewing Jewish support for abortion and move on to examining the state of abortion & religion politics in the US and NC and offer several strategies for how CJJ can be involved in meaningful change.
